Children of the Phoenix
Friday, September 21, 2007, 08:18 PM [Poetry]
Receding at the edge,
of a long winters grace.
Poised in the shadows,
of our restless slumber.
Awakening from the smoldering embers,
towards the ancient paths of our ancestors.
We are the children of the Phoenix.
Throttling through the illusive holding patterns,
that galvanize our fears.
Stretching across the Aquarian sky,
with an unfounded potential for multiplicity.
Breaching the hull of the superposition,
on the crest of a collapsing wave function.
A boundless causality approaching,
the ethereal landscape of infinity.

Witch
Friday, September 21, 2007, 08:13 PM [Poetry]
Her often sanctioned stature sketches the distance
between Heaven and Earth.
Replacing the nature of consequence
with the arch of an open handed gesture.
She is among the living,
yet totally divested from the coil of its endless contingencies.
A disconnect woven through
the tangled symmetry of life where cause and effect dance
uncontrollably in the finite spaces of a discerning belief in natural order.
Bringing to the circle the transient incantation of a residually spiritual consciousness.

Ancient Rhythms of Life
Friday, September 21, 2007, 08:03 PM [Poetry]
There is disorder within the symmetry,
of our ascension towards the meridian.
Ordinance underneath the shadows,
of all paths we must walk.
And a mindfulness to embrace,
neither the beginning or end.
Juxtaposing the complex rhythms,
between birth and death.
Lying dormant in the darkness,
of its own antiquity.
Chaos brings inertia,
to the static entropy of life.
Casting shadows across,
the shallow reflecting pools of time and space.
